Today is the final day of Target’s Haulathon. Every Friday for the past four weeks, Target and NECA have released new, exclusive figures and toys. Most of the figures have not been horror themed, but they saved the best for last, the NECA Feral Bear Blood Predator. This is a Target exclusive recolor of the NECA Feral Predator and it recreates the pivotal scene from the movie Prey where the creature is fully revealed.
Target Haulathon vs Standard Edition
The main difference between the Target Haulathon predator and the standard feral predator is the coloring. A translucent plastic forms the bottom half of the Haulathon version, while the top half is red. In the middle, the colors blend like dripping blood. This pattern recreates the scene in Prey where the invisible Predator kills the bear, coats itself in blood, and becomes somewhat visible. The accessories included in the exclusive figure continue the invisible/ blood soaked theme. The final difference is the packaging. The exclusive version doesn’t come in the standard window packaging that the regular Predator comes in, it comes in a windowed box with a “blood” soaked transparent sleeve over the figure’s box.
Availability
Target has been slowly stocking the Haulathon Predator in store for the past month, but it is rare. Each Target only received one, and the stores managers decided when to stock the lone figure on the shelf. As of today, May 10th, Target.com has listed the figure online, but it will probably sell out quickly. Some exclusive NECA figures restock later at other retailers and some do not, this Target.com stock could be the only opportunity to buy this figure.
